In this episode, we discuss how the newly released movie “The Jesus Revolution” depicts the Jesus movement of the 1970’s and what revival really requires from those who are courageous enough to follow Jesus into uncharted and unpopular territory.

Whether it is showing up at a Middle School mixer wearing crazy outfits and competing at the limbo or showing up everyday with the gift of presence to your marriage, the principle remains the same.  Your family and your spouse will always remember who simply showed up.

In this first episode or our marriage series, we discuss the importance of gender roles within the marriage relationship and how they have often been distorted through misguided teaching.  Since marriage was the first institution God set up, it is important we reflect God’s original design for this sacred relationship.

“He Gets Us” is a national $100 million campaign designed to “…reintroduce people to the Jesus of the Bible and his confounding love and forgiveness.” However, as we look deeper into the content of this campaign, the Jesus it presents falls below this stated goal. In this episode, we discuss the dangers of “He Gets Us” and why followers of Christ must think deeply about its message.
